Boomerang

Things are seldom as they seem. Gary Wilson is a man who has it all – including a winning smile. But a closer look reveals that Gary’s life is a lie. When his world comes crashing down around him, he then turns to the only place where he can find hope.

Boomerang was created for the 168 Hour Film Project, a ten minute short film competition presented by the Bel-Air Presbyterian Church in Los Angeles, CA. Each film is based on text from the Book of Proverbs. Production was not to exceed seven days for pre-production, production, and post-production. All completed films were be judged by prestigious film industry executives.

 

Patience

We all see things differently at times. When a busy, young mother tries to wear all the hats and accomplish her long to-do list in one day, she finds that her five year old daughter does not share her sense of urgency. Conflict and tension grows and escalates until the youngster, wise in her own way, queries her mother on ultimate truth and purpose.

Naturally Native

Naturally Native follows the lives, loves, pain, joy and relationships of three sisters as they attempt to start their own business. Of American Indian ancestry, but adopted by a Caucasian foster mother as young children, each sister has her own identity issues and each has chosen a very different career and life path.

Pumpkin Man

A young boy searching for the answers to his parent's divorce, a magical pumpkin, a mysterious trick-or-treater, and a dark Halloween night - "Pumpkin Man" is the story of thrills, chills, magic, mystery and hope. Truly a tale that will touch the heart of every girl and boy who has ever struggled with the heartache of divorce as well as anyone young or old who has ever believed in the spirit of Halloween - a spirit named "Pumpkin Man."
